Unlike other kinds of cakes, congratulatory cakes are special and personalized. The person sending it would love the person receiving the cake to feel their love and support for the great news in their lives. You cannot just pick any cake and attach it to a congratulatory message or card. It needs to be carefully selected, designed and packaged to give a joyful vibe.

What’s your loved one Favorite cake?
For someone that loves chocolate cake, sending a vanilla cake may not elicit the same reaction as a chocolate cake would. Therefore, try and find out what flavor your loved one loves and we will design a beautiful cake for their special occasion.
Occasion
While any good news deserves to be celebrated, sending a congratulatory is not appropriate in every occasion, For instance, if you want to congratulate someone on their marriage, consider another type of gift instead of cake as they already have this for their wedding. Instead send congratulatory cakes to celebrate events such as graduation, childbirth, new job, new home or a promotion.
Size
A congratulatory cake does not need to be too big, but it should be enough to share with a couple of people. Do not send a cupcake or a slice of cake to say congratulations. The person receiving it will take a few bites and forget all about it. A good size that lets ten to fifteen people share brings more joy in celebrating the good news.

A simple ‘Congratulations’ on the cake is easy to do. However if you want to write more and possibly include drawings or carvings, then other factors such as size, fondant or frosting, colors need to be considered.
Design of cake
Does your loved one enjoy themed cakes or are they all about simplicity? If someone is celebrating their graduation, a cake with a hat and folded certificate would be very telling of the occasion. Some people though will still be content with a flat, non-tier cake and few words iced on top. Knowing the person, you will be able to direct your baker on what design to select. Remember, it is not about you but about the person you are sending the cake to. Hence, your personal preference should not dictate the choice of design.
